SUBMISSION — FREE TO APPLY

Submitting your project is completely free. Our editorial team reviews every submission for completeness and category fit (not quality). You only pay if approved — this removes the financial risk of entering an award.

What happens after you submit

You receive an email confirming we've received your project.

Within 5 working days: approval email with a payment link, or a rejection email with specific reasons and the option to resubmit.

After payment: your entry is confirmed and active. You can still edit until the call closes on 31 December.

Concept Presentation

Clarity and effectiveness in communicating the idea, supported by descriptions and complementary materials. Presentation is not secondary — it is part of the project.

Originality & Innovation

Uniqueness of the concept and its potential to introduce new perspectives or solutions. Must genuinely advance the state of the art in its segment.

Visual Quality

Aesthetic value, attention to detail and overall impact of the renderings or visual representations of the project.

Concept–Execution Coherence

Alignment between the original idea and its final execution — consistency, credibility and integrity of the design proposal.

Sustainability Aspects

Circularity, upcycling/recycling, material choices, environmental impact — concrete and verifiable elements, not generic declarations.

A modular folding chair system made from post-industrial recycled aluminium, designed for compact urban outdoor spaces — balconies, terraces, co-living areas.

ORIGINALITY & INNOVATION

Patented locking mechanism allowing full fold in 4 seconds without tools. 40% material reduction vs comparable solutions, same structural resistance certified EN 581. The aluminium extrusion profile is custom-designed to eliminate additional fasteners.

TARGET MARKET & AUDIENCE

Urban dwellers with limited outdoor space seeking quality furniture with minimal footprint. B2C via design retailers and B2B via hospitality and co-living operators. Currently distributed across 12 countries through 40 specialist retailers. Retail price €340–€480.

SUSTAINABILITY

100% post-industrial recycled aluminium (EN AW-6060 alloy). No surface treatments — anodised finish eliminates paint or coating waste. Fully disassemblable with a single tool for end-of-life recycling. Packaging uses 100% recycled cardboard, no single-use plastics.
